Arkadiusz Skrzypaszek (born April 20, 1968 in Oświęcim ) is a former Polish athlete who was active in modern pentathlon . He is one of the most successful and well-known modern pentathletes in Poland.
When he first took part in the Olympics at the 1988 Games in Seoul , he finished 23rd in the individual competition, and came tenth in the team competition with the Polish team. Four years later, at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, he won a gold medal in both individual and team competitions.
A year before his Olympic victory, he had become individual world champion in San Antonio in 1991 . With the team he won a bronze medal at the 1990 World Championships and a year later a silver medal. He won his only national title in 1991.
After the Olympic Games in Barcelona, he retired from active competitive sports.
