Yevgeny Nikolajewitsch Lipejew ( Russian Евгений Николаевич Липеев ; born February 28, 1958 in Krasnodar ) is a former Soviet pentathlete .
Career
At the Olympic Games in 1980 in Moscow Lipejew stepped part in individual and team competition. In the individual, he took 14th place. With the team, which included Anatoly Starostin and Pawel Lednjow in addition to Minejew , he became Olympic champion .
At the 1982 World Cup he won the title with Starostin and Timur Dossymbetow . In 1980 and 1982 he became Soviet champion. After his sports career Lipejew was active as a coach in modern pentathlon.
