Andrei Sergejewitsch Moissejew ( Russian Андре́й Серге́евич Моисе́ев ; born  June 3, 1979 in Rostov-on-Don ) is a Russian athlete who is active in modern pentathlon .

He won the gold medal in the individual competition at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens . During the closing ceremony of the Games, he carried the flag of his home country. Four years later he was able to successfully defend his title at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing .

At world championships in 2005 took third place in the individual competition. With the Russian team he became world champion in 2004, 2005 and 2008, and in 2001 he also won a bronze medal in the team competition. In addition, he was individual European champion in 2008 and vice European champion a year earlier, as well as European champion with the team in 2003, 2007 and 2008, second in 2005 and third in 2006.

Andrei Moissejew was awarded the honorary title “Honored Master of Sports” in recognition of his successes in Russia.
