Ulrich Drobnig
Ulrich Drobnig (born November 25, 1928 in Lüneburg ) is a German legal scholar .
Career
Drobnig received his doctorate in 1959 from the University of Hamburg and in the same year obtained a master's degree in comparative law from New York University . From 1963 he taught at the University of Chicago Law School . From 1975 to 1997 he was a professor at the University of Hamburg. From 1979 to 1996 he was director of the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg.
