Ulrich Gelhard (born May 26, 1946 ) is a former German soccer goalkeeper .
Career
Ulrich Gelhard started playing football at VfL Wuppertal . He moved from VfL to the Regionalliga West for Bonner SC for a year and then for two years to SG Wattenscheid 09 before returning to Wuppertal, this time to WSV . With Wuppertal he played in the Bundesliga for three years , but was only rarely able to prevail against the regular Manfred Müller . After the 1974/75 season , at the end of which Gelhard was relegated with the WSV, he moved to SV Waldhof Mannheim , stayed a year and moved on to Alemannia Aachen . After two years in Aachen, he came back to Wuppertaler SV, where he ended his career in 1980.
