Ulrich Lepper

Ulrich Lepper (* 1950 in Düsseldorf ) is a German administrative lawyer.

Since January 2010, he has been the state data protection officer for the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and successor to Bettina Sokol , who has moved to Bremen as president of the state audit office. FDP member Lepper previously worked for the Arnsberg district government and for a long time in the North Rhine-Westphalia Ministry of the Interior, where he was responsible for data protection for seven years as head of department. Most recently, he was government vice-president in Düsseldorf.

Helga Block was elected his successor on September 4, 2015.
