Ulrich Windoffer

Ulrich Windoffer (* 1942 in Dresden ) is a German photographer and photo designer.

Windoffer graduated from the University of Graphic and Book Art in Leipzig . He published several photo books, including in Nicolai Verlag , and also dealt intensively with landscape photography . His photo book about Amsterdam, which was published by Brockhaus Verlag in Leipzig in 1989, was named "Most Beautiful Book of the GDR" in 1990.

The city gallery "Kunst-Geschoss" in Werder (Havel) showed in 2012 an extensive retrospective with works by Windoffer.

Windoffer lives in Leipzig; his self-description in the yellow pages is partly "Dipl.-Fotografiker"
