Ulrike Adeberg
Ulrike Adeberg (born December 29, 1970 in Merseburg , GDR ) is a former German speed skater .
Career
Adeberg made his debut at the Junior World Championships in 1988 and finished 12th. At the Junior World Championships in 1989 and 1990, Adeberg won gold in the all-around competition. In 1991 Adeberg competed in the senior division for the first time and finished seventh in the all-around at both the European and World Cup. Not until 1994 did Adeberg start again in major international competitions, now for the Federal Republic of Germany . At the world championship in 1994 Adeberg finished second in the all-around competition behind Emese Hunyady . At the 1994 Winter Olympics , Adeberg finished 12th over the 1,500 meters. In 1998 she achieved her best result at a European Championship with fourth place. Adeberg won the German championships in all-around competitions in 1994 and 1999.
