Ulrike Banniza

Ulrike Banniza von Bazan (* 1966 in Siegen ) is a German lawyer .

Life

After graduating from high school, Banniza studied law at the University of Heidelberg and passed the first state examination there. She then studied at Cornell University in the United States and graduated in 1992 with a Master of Laws . After working as a research assistant at the Institute for International Business Law at the University of Münster (1992–1993), she was a trainee lawyer from 1993 to 1995 . In June 1994 she was in Munster for a doctor of law doctorate . In May 1995 she passed the second state examination in law and joined the Rhineland-Palatinate judicial service. From October 1995 to July 1997 she worked as a judge at the Administrative Court in Koblenz and then became a research assistant at the Federal Constitutional Court . Back in Koblenz, she was appointed judge at the administrative court in July 1999. In October 2001 she was seconded to the Rhineland-Palatinate Finance Court in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse . In 2002 she was appointed judge there. From January 2003 to August 2008 she was the presidential judge of the tax court. She has been a judge at the Federal Fiscal Court since August 14, 2008 .
