Ulrike Dietmann

Ulrike Dietmann (born January 30, 1961 ) is a German author and seminar leader.

Life

Dietmann studied theater studies, philosophy and journalism at the Free University of Berlin and scenic writing at the University of the Arts Berlin . For several years she founded and directed the Berlin theater group “Magnetische Felder”, which was based on Antonin Artaud's theater concept . In 1987 her first play "Heloise and Abelard" was premiered in Mannheim . Numerous plays, radio plays, novels and non-fiction books followed. In 2008 she founded the Pegasus Writing School, which offers seminars, workshops and training as a novelist. In 2006 she published her first horse novel "Moonwalker - Horse of Freedom" in Loewe Verlag . Since then, the relationship between horse and human has been the subject of her novels and non-fiction books. Since 2008 she has been working internationally as a seminar leader in horse-assisted experiential learning. In 2010 she completed her Eponaquest Instructor training with Linda Kohanov . One focus of her work is the model of the “ hero's journey ” according to Joseph Campbell . Ulrike Dietmann lives in the Stuttgart area .
