Ulrike Kuhlo

Ulrike Kuhlo (born July 30, 1949 in Hilden , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German politician ( FDP ). From 2003 to 2008 she was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1969, she studied economics at the University of Cologne , which she graduated with a diploma in 1974. From 1974 to 1982 she was employed in marketing management at Henkel in Düsseldorf and Unilever in Hamburg . She is the deputy chairwoman of the Rudolf von Bennigsen Foundation .

Ulrike Kuhlo is married to the media expert and journalist Karl-Ulrich Kuhlo , the founder of the first German news channel n-tv .

Political party

Ulrike Kuhlo has been a member of the FDP since 1993 . The Liberale is a board member in the FDP local association Jesteburg. She was deputy chairwoman of the FDP regional association Lower Saxony from 2000 to 2008. From 1996 she was councilwoman and deputy mayor of the Jesteburg community . From 2003 to 2008 she was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament , where she was spokeswoman for federal and European affairs and the media for the FDP parliamentary group. She was also Vice President of the State Parliament.
