Ulrike Maria Maier

Ulrike Maria Maier (born April 20, 1977 in Reutlingen ) is a German opera singer (soprano).

Life

Ulrike Maria Maier studied at the Mannheim University of Music with Alejandro Ramirez. From 2000 to 2004 she continued her studies with Klesie Kelly-Moog at the Cologne University of Music and Dance , where she graduated with distinction. Even after graduating, she continued her artistic work with Klesie Kelly-Moog. Ulrike Maria Maier has been working with Rudolf Piernay since summer 2010 .

After graduating in 2004, engagements took the singer to the Regensburg and Münster theaters as well as to the Netherlands, where she played in the roles of Donna Elvira ( Don Giovanni ), Hannah Glawari ( The Merry Widow ), Annina ( One Night in Venice ), Baroness Christine ( Parisian Life ) and as fire, princess and nightingale in Ravel's L'enfant et les sortilèges . From 2006 to the 2009 season Ulrike Maria Maier was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Mecklenburg State Theater in Schwerin . In 2010 the soprano could also be heard at the Dortmund Theater as Cleopatra in Handel's Giulio Cesare . In the 2010 season the soprano made her debut as Violetta Valery ( La traviata ) and Rosalinde ( Die Fledermaus ) at the Theater Vorpommern . At the Eutin Festival in 2012 she was cast as Adina in Donizetti's love potion .

Ulrike Maria Maier lives in Berlin.
