Ummenhofen is a parish in the Jengen community in the Ostallgäu district in Bavaria .

Ummenhofen has about 170 inhabitants and has a chapel. On the western edge of the village, a small, nameless stream flows mainly accompanied by a gallery to the north, on the left bank of which the Wiesmühle, which still belongs to Ummenhofen, is located and which flows into the Gennach from the right on the edge of Jengen . Ummenhofen was laid out as a street village along the state road St 2035 from the parish village of Eurishofens from Jengen in the south to Jengen itself in the north and is surrounded by a fairly flat landscape, which is divided into fields in the east like a chessboard; the western edge of the village to the nearby Gennach, on the other hand, is initially occupied by meadows.

In Ummenhofen there are some farmers, a beekeeper and a brewery . The place has a volunteer fire brigade . Ummenhofen is a very popular local recreation area.
