Friedrich Michaelis

Friedrich David Michaelis (born July 28, 1813 in Czarnikau , Grand Duchy of Posen ; † February 17, 1892 in Königsberg i. Pr. ) Was a German English and grammar school teacher .

Life

Michaelis attended the Mariengymnasium in Posen, from which he graduated Michaelis in 1834 with the Abitur. He enrolled at the Albertus University in Königsberg for philology and became a member of the Scotia Corpsland team . 1838 Dr. phil. doctorate , he completed the probationary year at the Collegium Fridericianum . After he had passed the senior teacher examination in 1840 , he joined Michaelis in 1841 as an assistant teacher at the high school in Löbenicht , which later became the Löbenicht secondary school . There he taught Frenchand english . He taught as a private lecturer at the Albertina . From 1853 to 1856 he was a member of the scientific examination committee for teachers.

As 1st senior teacher he retired Michaelis in 1880. He died withdrawn at the age of 79.
