Underpaid is a German grunge band from Göppingen and Rechberghausen, whose musical style is reminiscent of bands like Nirvana or Soundgarden .
history
In 2003 the four 16-year-old musicians Thomas Csapak, Jens Müller and the cousins Matthias and Andreas Mühleis founded the band. After a first demo recording, Break in thunder session , they signed a contract with the record label Code Red Records and in 2005 released the album Just For One Day .
In 2007 Underpaid toured various open air festivals. In 2008 they released their second studio album, A Trip To Nowhere .
In May 2010, Andi Schmid, another guitarist, joined the band. In 2012, Underpaid separated from drummer and founding member Andreas Mühleis. Joe Seitz became the band's drummer. In the same year the group released the third studio album No Time To Kill , but no longer on Code Red Records. The follow-up album Forever And A Day , which they had produced themselves, was also released without a record company.
Underpaid live shows with Dark Tranquility , End of Green , Megaherz , Jennifer Rostock and Anti-Flag played among others .
