End of Green is a German rock band that was founded in Stuttgart in 1992 . According to singer Michael Huber, the band name denotes the end of the hope symbolized by the color green. This suits the type of music the band produces. The band describes their style as "Depressed Subcore". The lyrics are about loneliness, depression, pain and death.

history

In 1996 the group released their debut album Infinity on Nuclear Blast . End of Green also became known through appearances with artists such as Subway to Sally , Paradise Lost , Iggy Pop and In Extremo . With Dead End Dreaming , the band made it into the charts for the first time. At the Wave-Gotik-Treffen 2006 and also at the Wacken Open Air in the same year they were present. The album The Sick's Sense was released on August 15, 2008 . The limited edition includes a bonus CD with five acoustic versions of the old and one new song.

Her next album High Hopes in Low Places was released on August 20, 2010 and entered the German album charts at number 17. In addition to this album, another CD with 10 new versions of old songs was recorded.

The eighth studio album entitled The Painstream was released on August 16, 2013 via Napalm Records .
