Hungarian TT
The Hungarian TT ( Hungarian Tourist Trophy ) was an international motorcycle race .
It was held eight times between 1924 and 1931. The organizer was the Royal Hungarian Automobile Club. The route used was a route near Budapest , which initially had a length of 14 kilometers and was shortened to 12.5 km from 1926 or 1927.
The Austrian Puch factory driver Rupert Karner was killed in the 350 cm³ race of the 1928 edition . He came off the track at about 130 km / h , probably on a DSH with a MAG engine, and hit his head against a kilometer stone . He was taken to hospital with a fractured skull base and other injuries, where he died shortly after arrival.
