União the Freguesias de Conceição e Estoi , just Conceição e Estoi is a municipality ( freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) of Faro in southern Portugal .
8,176 inhabitants live in the municipality on an area of 68.4 km² (as of 2011 figures).
The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform in Portugal on September 29, 2013 by merging the municipalities of Conceição and Estoi . Conceição became the seat of the municipality, the former municipal administration of Estoi continued to exist as a branch office and citizens' office.
