União de Freguesias the Gondiães e Vilar de Cunha , shortly Gondiães e Vilar de Cunha , is a village ( freguesia ) in the district of Cabeceiras de Basto in the north of Portugal .

The municipality was created as part of the regional reform in Portugal on September 29, 2013 by merging the two previous municipalities Gondiães and Vilar de Cunhas . Gondiães became the seat of the municipality.
