Nelly Sander (born October 13th in Montfort (Limburg) ) is a Dutch pop singer .

life and career

Sander was born with music, so to speak. While her father was part of a well-known musician duo, her mother sang most of the day and always brought her to bed with a cheerful song as a child. Her entire family, including her younger sister, were members of a local music and marching band. Nelly herself played the flute there since she was five . The highlight of the club life was a first place at the Wereld Muziek Concours in Kerkrade .

At the age of twelve, Sander got an accordion , and at the age of 16 she also became interested in the guitar . She learned to play both instruments, but singing has always been her favorite. When she was 20 years old she received the offer to participate in a band, which she gladly accepted. The ensemble, in which she played bass and also sang, was very successful and performed throughout the Netherlands . After the band split up, Sander was part of a duo for another five years.

By chance, in the summer of 2009, hit producer Francesco Bruletti from Cologne was sent a video link to a Dutch version of one of his titles. When the music producer rummaged around a little further on the Internet, he came across the voice of Nelly Sander. A few days later, the two met for the first time in the studio and Sander's solo career was born.

Nelly Sander now lives in Belgium .
