União das Freguesias de Lousã e Vilarinho , short Lousã e Vilarinho , is a Portuguese municipality ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) of Lousã . It represents the narrower urban area of ​​the small town of Lousã. 13,056 people live here on an area of ​​72.4 km² (figures as of 2011).

The municipality was created in the course of the municipal reorganization of Portugal after the municipal elections on September 29, 2013 through the merger of the municipalities of Lousã and Vilarinho .
