União das Freguesias de Trouxemil e Torre de Vilela , short Trouxemil e Torre de Vilela , is a municipality ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) of Coimbra in central Portugal .

3,954 inhabitants live in the municipality on an area of ​​10.56 km² (as of 2011 figures).,

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform in Portugal on September 29, 2013 by merging the municipalities of Trouxemil and Torre de Vilela . Trouxemil became the seat of the municipality, the former municipal administration in Torre de Vilela remained as a branch office and citizens' office.
