Torre de Vilela is a Portuguese town and former municipality.

The former municipality ( Freguesia ) belongs to the district ( concelho ) of Coimbra . The community had a total area of 3.3 km² and 1243 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
As part of the administrative reorganization in Portugal on September 29, 2013, Torre de Vilela was merged with the municipality of Trouxemil to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Trouxemil e Torre de Vilela . Trouxemil became the headquarters of the new community.
