Unida is an American stoner rock band that was formed from the members of Slo Burn and Kyuss .

history

Unida formed in 1998 after the two stoner rock bands Kyuss and Slo Burn split up. The band consisted of members of these two bands without exception. 1999 they released a split EP with Dozer , during a tour in the same year helped Paul Gray of Slipknot from the bass. In 1999 the so far only studio album Coping with the Urban Coyote was released. The second album should be called The Great Divide and appear in 2001, but is not available in stores, but can only be found in various Internet exchange sites. Two songs were released on compilations, one time each in 1999 and 2004. Unida has been back since 2012 , but so far only as a touring band. They played as a co- headliner at the Desertfest in Berlin in 2013 .
