Scott Reeder

Scott Thomas Reeder (born May 16, 1965 in Pomona ) is an American musician.

Musical career

In 1990 Reeder joined The Obsessed as bassist and in 1991 they recorded their album Lunar Womb with them. After leaving The Obsessed in 1992 , Reeder moved to Kyuss after Nick Oliveri left the band and stayed with the band before they broke up in 1995. From 1995 he was also a live bassist with Tool until Justin Chancellor replaced him as a permanent member. Reeder was next to Robert Trujillo and other bassists Metallica in 2003 , after Jason Newsted left the band. In 2006 Reeder published his first solo work called TunnelVision Brilliance , which he wrote and recorded completely by himself. In summer and autumn 2011 he represented Nick Oliveri at Kyuss Lives! because he was not allowed to leave the country because of police investigations.
