chronology
- Wretch Blues for the Red Sun
(1992)

Wretch is the debut album of the Californian stoner rock - band Kyuss . It was released in 1991 on the Dali Records label.

After the band had already produced and published a work under the name "Sons of Kyuss" in 1989, they renamed themselves Kyuss. Wretch is considered to be the basis for the overall oeuvre of the band between 1991 and 1995 , which is considered a masterpiece in the music world. Wretch differs from the subsequent Kyuss works in that the sound produced by Catherine Enny, Ron Krown and Kyuss appears rough and many are slow, deep and includes doom-heavy guitar riffs and drum beats. For many of the band's fans, Wretch is a masterpiece in its own right, reflecting the band's rough early years. This early work is mainly characterized by Doom riffs, paired with elements of Psychedelic Rock, and is assigned to Stoner Doom.
