Orange Goblin is a rock band from Great Britain .
Band history
Orange Goblin formed in 1995 from the group Our Haunted Kingdom and played mainly stoner rock with a strong psychedelic influence on the first releases . Since the fourth album Coup de Grace (2002), the band has tended more towards straightforward hard rock .
She played live performances a. a. with Unida , Queens of the Stone Age , Nebula , Monster Magnet and Cathedral and as opening act for Alice Cooper . The first five albums were released on the Rise Above Records label , which was founded by Cathedral frontman Lee Dorrian . In late 2006, Orange Goblin signed a recording deal with Sanctuary Records .
