Justin Chancellor
Justin Gunnar Walte Chancellor (born November 19, 1971 in England ) is an English bass player for the rock band Tool and a former member of the metal band Peach.
biography
After emigrating to the USA , he and his wife Shelee founded the Lobal Orning business in Topango , California , which is dedicated to music , literature and film .
While at school he founded the band Peach with some friends with which he released the album Giving Birth to a Stone .
Chancellor first met Tool in New York and stayed in touch with the band members, which in 1994 led to a joint European tour by Peach and Tool. In 1995 he joined Tool as a replacement for Paul d'Amour , prevailing against Scott Reeder ( Kyuss ), Frank Cavanagh ( Filter ), Marco Fox ( ZAUM ) and E. Sheperd Stevenson ( Pigmy Love Circus ).
Chancellor is an avowed fan of the English football club Chelsea FC .
