Salival is a limited edition box set that the band Tool released on December 12, 2000 in the USA . The word Salival is an invention of tool, but perhaps derives from the Latin word saliva for saliva from.

The release date in Germany was April 27, 2001 . Depending on the version, it contains, in addition to the audio CD, a DVD or VHS cassette on which the collected videos of the band can be found. The CD contains live recordings of older songs and new material as the Led Zeppelin - Cover "No Quarter". The song was used in the filming of Private Parts , the autobiography of Howard Stern find use. Tool gave no approval. The song "You Lied" is from Justin Chancellor's former band Peach.
