Unihockey Bundesliga 2008/09 (women)
The 2008/09 Unihockey Bundesliga was the 15th season of the German floorball championship on the women's large field.

Main round
In the main round, each team played twice against all other teams, which meant that each team had to play ten games. If a game was tied after regular time, there was a sudden death extension. If a team scored a goal here, they received an additional point, for a total of two. The defeated team received a total of one point for the draw after regular time. A normal win was rated with three points. The best three teams took part in the championship round, in which they played twice against each other team. The same mode was used in the placement round, for which the teams in places 4 to 6 qualified.

The three worst teams in the main round took part in the placement round and played twice against the other teams. Points and scores from the main round were used for scoring. The best team in the placement round qualified for the play-off semi-finals for the German championship.
