The Central German Floorball Club (short form MFBC ) is a sports club from the Leipzig region in Saxony. It was founded in 2006 as a merger of the clubs SSC Leipzig , SV 1919 Grimma and the Judoka Schkeuditz 2000 .
The men's and women's teams play in the floorball Bundesliga and are regularly among the playoff participants and title candidates there.
history
The floorball department of the SSC Leipzig , the Unihockey-Löwen Leipzig , was the most successful of the three clubs. She was German champion in 1998 and 2000 to 2002. In addition, the team was runner-up in 1997, 1999 and 2003 to 2006.
The women's team also had some successes. 2001 to 2005 they were German runner-up and in 2006 the championship title could be won.
Men's
The 1st men's team plays in the German Floorball Bundesliga . She plays her home games primarily in the sports hall on Rabet.

The first women's team plays in the German floorball Bundesliga as well as in the women's regional league. She plays her home games primarily in the Muldentalhalle Grimma.
Last season they won the German Cup at Final4 in Berlin and won the German championship. The cup win could be defended in 2019.

The 2nd men's team and connecting squad of the Bundesliga team will play under the name MFBC Schkeuditz in the Regionalliga Ost in the 2018/19 season . After the regular season you are in 6th place.
3. Gentlemen
The 3rd men's team will play under the name MFBC Leipzig / Schkeuditz in the 2018/19 season in the Association League East Season 2 . After the regular season you are in 6th place.
Small field
In the men's area, two teams compete in the Regionalliga Ost : MFBC Leipzig and Schakale Schkeuditz . Both in the regular 2018/19 season and in the play-offs, Leipzig came first and Schkeuditz came second. At the Kleinfeld DM 2019 Leipzig came fourth and the jackals were able to prevail in the final against TSV Tollwut Ebersgöns 9: 8.
In the women's division, two teams are also competing in the Regionalliga Ost : MFBC Grimma and MFBC Leipzig . In the regular 2018/19 season, Grimma came first and Leipzig came fifth. In the play-offs, however, Grimma lost twice and was only fourth.
Juniors
The MFBC provides 10 youth teams in the floorball area. The U11 and U13 should contribute to the learning of the sport in order to prepare in the area of the U15 for the Regionalliga team (U17).
The U13, U15w, U15m and U17 have currently qualified for the corresponding playoffs.
