The Union des Vignerons de l'Île de Beauté (UVIB) is the largest wine producers' association on the Mediterranean island of Corsica with around 1650 hectares , with a total of around 7000 hectares. 80 producers cultivate the area.

The seat is on the east coast in Aléria and belongs to the Vin de Corse growing area . His most important branded wine is La Réserve du Président with the name Corsaire and, with over three million bottles of annual production, is the only one able to establish itself abroad. The producers see themselves as pioneers of Corsican wines and position them with the aim of optimally preparing the richness of their terroir .

The UVIB was founded in 1976 after the Corsican appellations had been set up in the early 1970s (see also: Viticulture in Corsica ) .

The main grape varieties in the area are the red wine grapes Syrah , Mourvèdre , Grenache and Cinsault . The company has HACCP and Corsicařs IFS certification. The annual production is 100,000 hl with 7 to 8 million bottles per year. The main imports go to Canada, the United States, China and other Asian countries.
