United Indoor Football

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The United Indoor Football (UIF) was a league for arena football in the USA that was founded in 2005. After four seasons, the UIF merged with the Intense Football League (IFL) in 2008 and together they founded the Indoor Football League (IFL). In 2008 the league was closed.

history

The UIF was founded in 2005 from nine clubs from the National Indoor Football League (NIFL) and two clubs from the minor league of the Arena Football League (AFL), the af2 .

The league was based in Omaha, Nebraska, and operated for four years before joining forces with the Intense Football League (IFL) in 2008 . The Indoor Football League (IFL) was founded together. Then the league was closed.

There are many reasons for changing teams. Many teams were no longer convinced by the organizational and above all financial concept of their previous league and therefore saw better financial and sporting prospects in the new league.

The final is called the United Bowl .
