Unity (German " unit ") is an American documentary by Shaun Monson , which was released on August 12, 2015. The film thematizes the interrelationship between animals, nature and humanity, already made known in Shaun Monson's documentary Earthlings .

Monson assumes that everything (minerals, animals, plants) has the same origin, namely the earth. As a result, these things are not all the same, but they are of equal value. According to Monson, this is the central theme of the film.

Summary

Unity is divided into four parts: Body (body), Mind (spirit), Heart (heart) and Soul (soul). Part one is about food and how it affects energy levels and the mind . The second part is devoted to the ego , which always perceives opposites (male and female, black and white, homosexual and heterosexual, to be and not to be, etc.). Part three is about emotions and the ability to love . This enables us to pass over these opposites. Part four addresses a higher level of consciousness .

production

Unity was produced by Nation Earth , which was founded to produce documentaries on social issues. Unity is the second full-length film and the second documentary trilogy.

Unity was also produced in audio format and read by Shaun Monson. The audio version is an unabridged version of the script and about 30 minutes longer than the film.
