The Universidad de Colima is the public university of the Mexican state of Colima . It has campuses in Colima , Villa de Álvarez , Coquimatlán , Tecomán and Manzanillo .

history

The establishment took place on September 16, 1940 under the impression of the tenure of Lázaro Cárdenas del Río .

structure

The faculties are divided among the major localities in the state.

Colima campus

Colima is the largest campus of the Colima University. In Colima are telematics , nursing, medicine , social work , psychology , education science, market research, philology , fine arts, law and natural sciences offered, as well as the integrated degree programs Business Administration / Public Administration and Political Science / Social Sciences .

Campus Villa de Álvarez

The Villa de Álvarez offers courses in foreign languages, economics, education, philosophy and tourism.

Coquimatlán campus

In Coquimatlán , courses in architecture, chemistry, electrical engineering and engineering for urban planning and infrastructure are offered.

Tecomán campus

In Tecomán , the courses in veterinary medicine and biology are offered, as well as the integrated course in business administration and administration.

Manzanillo campus
