The University of Airlangga ( Indonesian : Universitas Airlangga , abbreviated to Unair ) is a state university in Surabaya .
This was founded in 1954 with five faculties, before it was part of the University of Indonesia . By 1998 there were eleven faculties. Its namesake is King Airlangga . The Unair is a member of the ASEAN university network .
