The Hoseo University is a Christian Polytechnic University in Cheonan , Chungcheongnam-do , South Korea . The facility was founded as a college in 1978, converted into a university in 1981 and expanded to include a second campus in Asan in 1988 .

The university is divided into five colleges. With a teaching staff of around 320 faculty members, it offers major courses in theology and humanities , law and social sciences , natural sciences , engineering sciences , music and design .
