The University of Malaysia Pahang (UMP) (English University Malaysia Pahang, mal. Universiti Malaysia Pahang) in Kuantan in the state of Pahang is a state university in Malaysia founded in 2002 . It is a university with a major in engineering.
history
In 2002 the "University College" Kolej Universiti Kejuruteran & Teknologi Malaysia (KUKTEM) was founded as a state technical university . In October 2006, the university was renamed Universiti Malaysia Pahang and received university status.
