Silviu Andrei Mărgăritescu (born January 1, 1980 in Piteşti , Argeş County ) is a former Romanian football player . The midfielder played a total of 189 games in the Romanian League 1 and the Russian Premier League . In 2007 he won the Romanian championship with Dinamo Bucharest .

Career

Mărgăritescu began his career at Rapid Bucharest , where he came on October 2, 1999 for his first use in Divizia A (now League 1 ). At the end of the season he reached the runner-up. Nevertheless, he moved to Tractorul Brasov in the second-rate Divizia B . After further stints at Olimpia Satu Mare and Unirea Focşani opened in the summer of 2004 for him again the opportunity to play in Divizia A, and he joined the Romanian top club Dinamo Bucharest .

Already in his first season Mărgăritescu was again runner-up and was able to win the Romanian Cup . The highlight of his career was winning the championship two years later .

In the summer of 2008, Mărgăritescu left Dinamo after four years and moved to Terek Grozny in the Russian Premier League . With Grozny, he was always able to place himself in midfield, but was no longer used regularly in the 2009 season . In January 2010 he returned to Dinamo Bucharest. There he could not fight for a regular place. In the summer of 2011 he left Dinamo again and joined CS Mioveni . At the end of the 2011/12 season he had to relegate with his new club. He remained loyal to Mioveni in Liga II. In early 2014 he left the club to Atletic Bradu in League III. In the summer of 2015 he returned to Argeșul Pitești in his hometown, where he ended his career a few months later.

National team

Andrei Mărgăritescu played three games for the Romanian national football team in 2006 and 2007 . His first mission was on September 6, 2006 against Albania .
