Unnode
Unnode is a district of the municipality of Kruckow in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

Unnode is 1.5 kilometers northeast of Kartlow and 9.5 kilometers southwest of Jarmen. The place is located in a depression south of the depression of the cuckoo ditch. The place can be reached on a cul-de-sac that starts from the district road between Kartlow and Wilhelminenthal .
history
The place was created in 1820 by the relocation of seven farmers from Kartlow. This was done by the landowner Wichard Wilhelm von Heyden on the basis of the Stein-Hardenberg reforms , whereby the farmers had to cede half of their land to the landlord in order to be freed from their burdens and official duties towards him. The resettlement served to separate (separation) between landlord and peasant property.
The name of the place should go back to the farmers' answer to the question whether they would agree with the choice of the new place. The answer was “Yes Lord, un node!” ( Low German : without need, reluctantly).
In the first half of the 19th century, Woldemar von Heyden- Kartlow bought one of the Unnoder farms. A second came into his possession after 1850. On another property he donated the so-called “hospital”, “in which 6 whole and 6 half families of their age are to be looked after”, an exception at that time. In addition to the elderly and the disabled, farm workers were also accommodated in the building, which was built for 2,713 thalers. It is located on the left at the entrance to the village and is still inhabited today. Opposite the "Hospital" is the former Kartlower rectory, a half-timbered building that was demolished in Kartlow in 1846 and rebuilt in Unnode. The building, in which three farm workers' families used to live, is now in dire need of renovation.
Around 1862 Unnode had 125 inhabitants, in 1885 there were 136, in 1969 there were 79 and in 1993 the number of inhabitants had decreased to 36.
Until the merger with Kruckow in 1999, Unnode was part of the municipality of Kartlow .
