Rainer Tietböhl

Rainer Tietböhl (born April 13, 1952 in Unnode ) is a German farmer and agricultural functionary.

Life

Rainer Tietböhl studied agricultural sciences with a degree in agricultural engineering. From 1973 he was division manager in the LPG animal production Demmin . In 1989 he was elected chairman of LPG (T) Demmin. After the reunification and peaceful revolution in the GDR he headed the privatization of the newly created Landbau Demmin AG . In 1994 he founded the Volksdorfer Milchhof Tietböhl KG in Volksdorf (Nossendorf) and became its managing director. In 2006 the farm had an agricultural area of ​​765 hectares and has 180 dairy cows.

Since March 2006 he has been President of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Farmers' Association; he was re-elected several times. He is chairman of the “Agricultural Law” and “Renewable Raw Materials” committees in the German Farmers' Association .

Tietböhl is Deputy Chairman of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Broadcasting Council .

He is also active in local politics and is a member of the city council in Demmin. In the municipal elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2014 , he was re-elected to the district council of the Mecklenburg Lake District , where he belongs to the SPD parliamentary group. Tietböhl had already belonged to the district council of the Demmin district . He left the first district council of the new great district after a short time.
