Wichard Wilhelm von Heyden

Wichard Wilhelm von Heyden (born March 22, 1782 in Kartlow ; † February 24, 1836 ibid) was a German manor owner and member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Pomerania .

Life

Wichard Wilhelm was the eldest son of Johann Karl von Heyden (1740–1800), a Prussian captain and owner of Kartlow, Leistenow , Buschmühl and Jatzkow, and Henriette Dorothea Johanna von Wittken (1752–1836). When the father died, the mother took over the management of the Kartlow family estate, while Wichard Wilhelm studied at the Georg August University from 1800 to 1802 . There he was a member of the Landsmannschaft Holsatia Göttingen. He finished his military service as an ensign .

Afterwards he devoted himself to the management of his estates. In Kartlow he had the farmyard that burned down in 1800 rebuilt. At the beginning of the 19th century he expanded his property to include Leistenow , Buschmühl and parts of Kadow . In 1816 he acquired the Bredenfelde estate in Mecklenburg and before 1820 the Plötz estate . On the basis of the Stein-Hardenberg reforms, he separated the manorial and rural property in his estates. These previously were erbuntertänigen farmers from Kartlow the newly established village Unnode (1820) and of roach in the Vorwerk Wilhelminenthal resettled (to 1825). With Heydenhof (1821) and Neu Plötz (1833) he laid out further preliminary works.

Wichard Wilhelm von Heyden was a member of the provincial parliament of the province of Pomerania as a knightly member for the Demmin district from 1824 to 1828 .

Wichard Wilhelm von Heyden married Wilhelmine von Gloeden (1789–1820) in 1803 . The two had seven daughters and four sons, including:

Almost four months after Wilhelmine's death, he married Henriette von Arnim (1792–1860) in 1820 . With her he had two sons:

  • Carl Heinrich August Hans (born 1822) married Cecilie Eleonore Maria von Rhade (born 1844) daughter of Major Carl Ernst Friedrich Adolph Daniel Baron von Rhade and Caroline Henriette Charlotte Wilhelmine von Stammer on September 26, 1845 in Silstedt .
  • Carl Ludwig Wilhelm Wichard von Heyden (1823–1882) inherited Plötz and had the manor house built in Tudor style in 1866.
