Unnur Brá Konráðsdóttir ( transcribed Unnur Bra Konradsdottir ; born April 6, 1974 in Reykjavík ) is an Icelandic politician ( Independence Party ).

From 2006 to 2009 she was mayor of the southern Icelandic municipality of Rangárþing eystra . Since 2009 she has been a member of the Icelandic parliament Althing for the southern constituency . From 2009 to 2013 she was Vice-President of Parliament. Unnur Brá was a member of changing parliamentary committees. From 2013 to 2016 she was chair of the Icelandic delegation to the West Nordic Council and from 2013 to 2016 (from 2014 as deputy chair) of the Icelandic delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe . In 2017 she was President of Parliament . In the parliamentary elections on October 28, 2017 , she lost her seat in the Althing.

In October 2016 , Unnur Brá Konráðsdóttir breastfed her child while defending a bill before the Althing. This was broadcast on Icelandic television and received coverage in Icelandic and international media.
