action

The Rasende Roland drives past fishermen's houses, hills and forests , with which the children of Rügen particularly enjoy driving, as he rolls leisurely through the landscape so that you can take a look at the area in peace.

The first stop is in Sellin , one of the largest and most famous seaside resorts on the island of Rügen. There is a pier here , next to which you can watch children bathing. The journey continues to the seaside resort of Göhren , where there is no pier, but an interesting local museum. Here you can hear stories about the island's residents and fishermen. Also in Göhren, fishermen are shown who are already out with their boats and nets on the Baltic Sea long before sunrise and when the first holidaymakers appear on the beach, they have usually already returned. Even today some fishermen live in small thatched houses that are very comfortably furnished. Sometimes you can see a Neptune walking along the beach with his entourage. These are the employees of a holiday camp who want to celebrate one of the highlights for the children with the Neptune Festival .
