In private is a broadcast on Bavarian television based on the subject of a talk show , which, according to the title, consists of two people, the presenter and a guest.

Concept and content

The 30-minute program or the conversation under four eyes is essentially biographical. The guest talks about himself and about encounters with others, he describes experiences, impressions and findings from his life, from his early childhood to today. Together with the moderator, the discussion guest sheds light on his private and professional life. According to the concept of the program, the guest should give the viewer an insight into his life in the one-on-one conversation in a familiar atmosphere and in this way convey a very personal picture of himself.

The guests of the show mostly come from the Bavarian cabaret, comedy or drama scene, but numerous other celebrities have also been guests on the show. In rare cases (e.g. with known couples) there are two guests on the show. Even if there is occasional one-to-one conversation, the title of the program remains under four eyes .

Until January 2012, the talk show Unter Vier Augen ran on Fridays from 11:30 p.m. to midnight and was broadcast on a season-by-season basis. Since February 2013 it has been broadcast on Saturdays from 4:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
