Unterholzen (Mitterfels)

Unterholzen (also Hinterholzen ) was an official district of Mitterfels in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen . Today it is a location in the north of the village and west of the state road 2140, roughly marked by the Unterholzener Straße .

history

Unterholzen was mentioned in documents early on. In the land register from 1555 1 courtyard is recorded for the place . The last mention in the official registers of Bavaria was made with the census data from 1961 for the territory as of October 1, 1964.

Population development

A very strong increase in the population was recorded between 1950 and 1961. Here the population grew from 17 to 41. The number of residential buildings was increased from two to ten during this period.
