The Uncial 047 (after Gregory-Aland ; von Soden ε 95) is a Greek manuscript of the New Testament , which is dated to the 8th century. The manuscript has not been completely preserved.

The manuscript consists of the four Gospels on 152 sheets of parchment with a few gaps (Matt. 2,15-3,11; 28,10-20; Mark 5.40-6.18; 8.35-9.19; John 2, 17-42; 14.7-15.1; 18.34-21.25). It has a format of 20.5 × 15.2 cm. The text is in a column with 37-38 lines in a cross shape, in small letters. The parchment is rough, the ink is brown.

It contains Prolegomena, κεφαλαια, Ammonian sections (Mark 237), Eusebian Canon.

The Greek text of the Codex represents the Byzantine text type . It is assigned to category V.

Matt 16,2b-3 is absent; John 5: 3-4 has obelus in the margin, John 7: 53 to 8:11 bears no signs.
