The Upper Panton River is a river in the northeast of the Australian state of Western Australia . It is located in the Kimberley region and is a headwaters of the Panton River .
geography
The river has its source on the southern slopes of Springvale Hill on the south side of the eastern part of the King Leopold Ranges and initially flows southeast through the Springvale settlement . It passes under the Great Northern Highway , turns south, flows along the highway and about nine kilometers further east of Alice Hill , together with the Little Panton River, forms the Panton River.
