The Upsalquitch River is a right tributary of the Restigouche River ( Rivière Ristigouche ) in the north of the Canadian province of New Brunswick .
The Upsalquitch River arises at Upsalquitch Forks at the confluence of its two headwaters, Northwest and Southeast Upsalquitch Rivers - 35 km south of Campbellton . The Upsalquitch River flows through Restigouche County in a northwesterly direction. It finally flows into the Restigouche River 10 km south of Matapédia . The Upsalquitch River has a length of about 40 km. The catchment area covers approximately 2270 km². The mean discharge is 41 m³ / s.
