Urška Žganec (born June 3, 1991 in Zagorje ob Savi ) is a Slovenian soccer player.

Career

society

Žganec started her career in the youth of the ŽNK Crimea. In the 2006/07 season she moved from youth to the first team of the 1st SZNL club ŽNK Senožeti-VODE. Žganec came in their first senior season on 21 appearances in the 1. ženska league and scored eleven goals for ŽNK Senožeti. She played the following three years for Senožeti and joined the ŽNK Jevnica in the summer of 2009 . Žganec ran in 13 games for Jevnica in the 2009/10 season, scoring eleven goals before joining the ŽNK Rudar Skale . After she developed into a top performer in Slovenia and became a permanent fixture in the national team, Žganec joined the Italian Serie A club ASD Calcio Chiasiellis in summer 2012 . In summer 2013 she left Italy and moved to SG SK Sturm Graz / FC Stattegg .

National team

Urška Žganec made her debut in the Slovenian women's national team on September 22, 2011 in the international match against England and has been part of the team ever since.
